Artist’s Note

In Porto, I stepped off a boat along the Douro and found a view I felt compelled to preserve through my own eyes. Another artist was there, selling his work, beautifully rendered, yet different from the landscape I imagined. That vision lingered, flowing through my mind like the river itself, until I returned home to bring it to life on canvas.
